#ThursdayThoughts: Why are you injecting a bio-weapon in to your face?

#ThursdayThoughts: Why are you injecting a bio-weapon in to your face?

OK. That’s a bit of a provocative question. I’m going to become very unfashionable with today’s thoughts.

I want us to be able to have a respectful and open dialogue about toxins and toxic environments: not in respect of the wider ecosystem (the interconnectedness of being ‘at one with one’s environment’, known in Buddhism as the principle of  Esho Funi), but directly in respect of your body.

We focus on toxic work environments, & the effects of Narcissist Psychopaths on your health, in other blogs, videos, and podcasts.

We focus on how trauma is trapped in the pain body, causing the disfunction fibromyalgia, in other blogs, videos, workshops and modules.

&

We use the ThursdayThoughts arena to deep-dive into esoteric understanding of healing, and the role of spiritual awakening in related videos & podcasts,

This blog focuses directly on your physical & emotional health, asking some direct and challenging (not hostile) questions such as:

Why are you poisoning yourself with neurotoxins?

Let’s begin with a slightly friendlier question: Do you know how are you poisoning yourself with neurotoxins?

Two of the most common ways you are poisoning yourself with neurotoxins are:

1. by eating Ultra Processed ‘Foods’ (let’s park that for discussion for another week)

2. by the use of Botox & cosmetic/ aesthetic ‘fillers’ ( yes, I’m really going there)

Botox is a poison affecting your neurological (nervous) system

‘ Bo’ (Botulinum) the bacterium which causes Botulism (a sever paralytic flaccid disease) is “the most potent toxin known to humankind”.

‘tox’ (toxic/toxin) speaks for itself.

Given the title of the scientific research paper above, we could be asking some very dark dystopian questions such as:

Why are you injecting a bio-weapon into your face?

&

Who is encouraging you to do so?

Let’s ask rephrase that into a more personal, sympathetic, way:

Why do you inject the most potent toxin known to humankind into your face?

Because a multi-billion dollar profiteering pharmaceutical industry has told you….

…that you won’t be attractive if you have laughter lines, or other wrinkles?

…that only the young are beautiful?

OK, I admit searching for The Fountain of Youth is not a knew thing: predating even the Alexander romance (writings from the 3rd century AD)

And using poisons as cosmetics has an ancient lineage dating back over 3,500 years at least.

(See British Science Museum blog)

I’m not being ‘hostile’ to your desire to feel beautiful. Though my questions are intentionally provocative: I am asking you to ‘weigh-up’, not the risk factors but, the foundations of your ‘why?’ i.e. to consider the sources of cultural and personal pressures affecting your current behaviour.

‘Botox’ & ‘Dermal Fillers’ have a sinister effect on your physical & mental health.

‘Botox’ is a neurotoxin, in other words a poison to your neurological/nervous system. It blocks the neurotransmitters in your skin, preventing muscle movement. It is used medically to prevent muscle spasm (for example in the condition cerebral palsy; to correct ‘lazy-eye’, incontinence & some forms of migraine).

‘Dermal Fillers’ are synthetic versions of chemicals found naturally functioning in other areas of the your body, (e.g. Calcium Hydroxylapatite from bones) or bioplastics (e.g. the ‘Polymers/Poly-L-Lactic acid, which can encourage your body to create collagen, and the Polymer PolyMethalMethacrylate, a mixture of collagen & microplastic balls used to ‘restructure your physical form by adding structural volume’).

Bioplastics degenerate into microplastics, detrimentally affecting your body (including endocrine disruptionorgan damage; increased risk of heart attack, stroke or death; and inflammation, necrosis & cancers ).

Collagen is a protein that naturally keeps your skin ‘elastic’ (youthful/ non-wrinkled). There are healthy dietary ways to replace disappearing collagen in your body: including eating natural foods high in protein, Vitamin C, and balanced Zinc & Copper.  Two of the least fashionable, more traditional, methods include: drinking bone broth, and limiting exposure to sunlight.

Cosmetic surgery can also move fat layers from one area of your body to ‘fill’ or ‘restructure’ another. I’m not going to lie, even I’ve had a little fantasy now and again thinking about the possibilities of moving fatty deposits around my midriff to plump up my ageing breasts. The same surgical technique is also offered to ‘structure’ facial features like cheeks, chin or jawline).

There are less traumatic ways to create the illusion of youthful skin offered by the pharma-beauty industry, for example Hyaluronic acid is another lab created synthetic which occurs naturally in youthful skin. It firms plumps your dermal (skin) layer by preventing skin dehydration. This again can create that ‘anti-wrinkle’ illusion.

The ‘aesthetic’ prevention of muscle movements in your skin, by use of Botox and fillers, is designed to flatten and/or prevent wrinkles, but it also has a more sinister effect.

The more sinister effect of ‘aesthetic’ prevention of muscle movements in your skin…

…has been evidenced through MRI brain scans recording the reduced ability of people to react to (or sympathise with) ‘emotions in others’ after Botox injections. Lip fillers, preventing subtle muscle movement could act in a similar way.

What does this mean?

Does it mean that humanity is becoming less able to empathise (react compassionately) to the hurts & pains of others?

Does it mean that empathic people are unconsciously ‘anaesthetising themselves’ to protect against what feels like an increasingly painful world?

Or does the involvement of a multibillion dollar global pharmaceutical beauty sector indicate a darker more dystopian conspiracy?

Do you think  humanity is becoming less able to empathise (react compassionately) to the hurts & pains of others?

Do you resonate with the notion that empaths might be subconsciously ‘anaesthetising themselves’ to protect against an increasingly painful world?

Do you believe that your individual motivator is vanity? Or low self esteem?

Or that a darker dystopian conspiracy is unfolding?

#ThursdayThoughts: 3 things I learned (about time) thru experiencing a DNOTS

3 Things I learned about time, and how it affects your health Today’s #ThursdayThoughts lean into more philosophical esoteric musings. Time is a construct  Day & night, and seasons are created by Gaia earth turning. Whether you believe that earth was created as a Garden of Eden for human beings to experience; or that humans were created, in the image of god, as its custodian; or whether you believe that we, like fleas irritating a dog’s skin, are irritating the surface of earth or maybe you view human beings like parasitical bacteria growing out of control in a petri-dish. Whatever your contextual framework, you cannot argue against the fact that, we exist  indisputably ‘here’ and ‘now’. …and the earth turns …and never does a winter not turn in to spring; and  …time has an affect on our health (mental & physical). Let’s unpack the phrase: “time is a construct” We only experience time because we are sentient beings existing within time & space.  We experie...
